ولله ملك السموات والأرض وما فيهما، يتجاوز برحمته عمن يشاء فيستر ذنبه، ويعذِّب بعدله من يشاء. وكان الله سبحانه وتعالى غفورًا لمن تاب إليه، رحيمًا به.

تفسير الجلالين

«ولله ملك السماوات والأرض يغفر لمن يشاء ويعذِّب من يشاء وكان الله غفورا رحيما» أي لم يزل متصفا بما ذكر.
