“And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers” — al-Isra 82
Ruqyah
Ruqyah verses in Uthmani script with their recitation, and the supplications of the Prophet (peace be upon him) each one graded by a hadith scholar — what is not authenticated is not shown here at all.
Ruqyah is a means; healing comes from Allah alone. It does not conflict with medical treatment — so keep up your treatment and do not stop seeing your doctor. If your condition gets worse, consult people of knowledge and medical professionals together.

In Uthmani script from the mushaf text, with every verse one tap away from being recited.
Supplications of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Every supplication comes with its grading, the hadith scholar who gave it, and its source. Anything not graded sahih or hasan is not listed on this page at all.
How to perform ruqyah on yourself
- 1 Recite over yourself — performing ruqyah on yourself is better, and you need no one else.
- 2 Blow lightly into your hands, then wipe over as much of your body as you can, starting with your head and face.
- 3 Repeat it as often as you wish — morning, evening, and at bedtime; no set number is required.
- 4 Bring your heart into it — ruqyah is a supplication, not words recited by rote.
- 5 Keep up your treatment and your medication; seeking a cure is sunnah just as ruqyah is sunnah.
The verses come from the mushaf text in Uthmani script held on this site. The gradings of the supplications are quoted from the hadith scholars exactly as they stated them. Sources and methodology
