وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌۭ ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ سَاعَةًۭ ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ

التفسير الميسر
ولكل جماعة اجتمعت على الكفر بالله تعالى وتكذيب رسله -عليهم الصلاة والسلام- وقت لحلول العقوبة بهم، فإذا جاء الوقت الذي وقَّته الله لإهلاكهم لا يتأخرون عنه لحظة، ولا يتقدمون عليه.

تفسير الجلالين
«ولكل أمَّة أجل» مدة «فإذا جاء أجلهم لا يستأخرون» عنه «ساعة ولا يستقدمون» عليه.
