۞ وَإِذَا صُرِفَتْ أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ تِلْقَآءَ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

وإذا حُوِّلَتْ أبصار رجال الأعراف جهة أهل النار قالوا: ربنا لا تُصيِّرنا مع القوم الظالمين بشركهم وكفرهم.

«وإذا صرفت أبصارهم» أي أصحاب الأعراف «تلقاء» جهة «أصحاب النار قالوا ربنا لا تجعلنا» في النار «مع القوم الظالمين».

Und wenn ihre Blicke sich in Richtung der Bewohner des Feuers wenden, sagen sie: "Unser Herr, mache uns nicht zum Volk der Frevler."
