﴿رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْنِى مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِى ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَآءِ﴾
Meaning of the verse · Pickthall
My Lord! Make me to establish proper worship, and some of my posterity (also); our Lord! and accept my prayer.

رب اجعلني مداومًا على أداء الصلاة على أتم وجوهها، واجعل من ذريتي مَن يحافظ عليها، ربنا واستجب دعائي وتقبَّل عبادتي.
﴿وَجَعَلَنِى مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَٰنِى بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّۭا﴾

And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive,

وجعلني عظيم الخير والنفع حيثما وُجِدْتُ، وأوصاني بالمحافظة على الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة ما بقيت حيًا.
﴿وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ أَهْلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرْضِيًّۭا﴾

He enjoined upon his people worship and almsgiving, and was acceptable in the sight of his Lord.

وكان يأمر أهله بإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة، وكان عند ربه عز وجل مرضيًا عنه.
﴿يَٰبُنَىَّ أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأْمُرْ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَٱنْهَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ وَٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَكَ ۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ ٱلْأُمُورِ﴾

O my dear son! Establish worship and enjoin kindness and forbid iniquity, and persevere whatever may befall thee. Lo! that is of the steadfast heart of things.

يا بنيَّ أقم الصلاة تامة بأركانها وشروطها وواجباتها، وأْمر بالمعروف، وانْه عن المنكر بلطفٍ ولينٍ وحكمة بحسب جهدك، وتحمَّل ما يصيبك من الأذى مقابل أمرك بالمعروف ونهيك عن المنكر، واعلم أن هذه الوصايا مما أمر الله به من الأمور التي ينبغي الحرص عليها.
